So I'm 16 my boyfriend is 25. We loves each other more than anything yes we've had sex and all his family knows my age even his friends. He shows me off and spoils me way to much. If I say no to anything he will stop unless I'm crying from depression then he'll hold me no matter what. Is this age gap okay???

I do think it's wrong.. I know you are in love and I'm really happy for you. But you guys are in such different spots in your lives. If your parents found out you are having sex they could call the police and he would be arrested and registered as a sex offender even though it was consensual.

Well, I live in Michigan, and when I was 16 and dating a 19 year old, my dad asked his friend (who is a police officer) and asked if this was okay. His friend told him that the age of consent is 16 years old, and I could have done anything I wanted with a guy of any age. But, you really need to be careful, and so does he. I don't know the laws where you live, but he could easily be put in jail and registered as a sex offender. And keep in mind that sexual predator will stay on his criminal record FOREVER. If it's true love, it can wait two years.

Honestly, it is all up to you. I don't think anyone can tell you that it is right or that it is wrong, they are your feelings, and that is what is important. If it makes you happy then be happy! I would just be careful about the legal aspect

You need to find out the legality of this type of thing in your state/ country or where ever you're from, I know that in the uk the law isn't as strict around this as you're 16 and thus able to give consent but if you're from America I believe it's completely different, I know that you can choose to testify in the uk against someone even if your parents try to make you do it its up to you in the U.K. But if you find out the legality and it's not in your favour personally I think you should hold off from having sexual relations as this could really jeopardise this mans life, I'd also consider talking to my family about it and seeing their reaction, if you're not allowed to see eachother till you're 18 but you're in love he should wait for you

The age of consent differs from state to state, county to county. But a 9 year difference with a 16 vs. 25 year old is cutting it pretty close. It's only because you're under 18. When I met my partner when I was 14 and him 17, we had to deal with the "under age" shpiel threats and warnings. We just had to mind our manners till I was 18, then the law wouldn't get in the way. But yeah.... Please be extremely careful with older partners when under 18. You never know what kind of weirdos are out there. Hope you two are being safe and enjoy each other. Just two more years and you'll be okay, if you choose to continue dating an older guy.
