Need your answers!

I'm curious if anyone has gone into labour without a show or your water breaking. Been having on and off contractions all day while cleaning the house. When I finished I tried showering, drinking more water and laying down to see if I could get them to stop. They are still coming and my stomach muscles are starting to hurt sometimes during one it's causing sharp pains in my privates and bottom.

I'm just curious as to whether I should be timing them or if it's just nothing.

My waters didn't break last pregnancy but I did have my bloody show two days before my daughter was born so this is why I'm curious.
