Do I need to call my doctor if I lost some of my mucus plug?

Definitely not big enough to be the whole thing and so far it’s not been bloody so I’m not sure if it’s worth giving them a call. I’m 35+4 and I’ve been losing pieces of it for the past few days. Is it something I should call about or should I just wait until i go in for my growth scan on Tuesday? Is it even worth bringing up then? I’m a FTM so I really have no clue what’s worth bugging the doctor about!

No its fine. I’ve been losing parts of its since the beginning it “grows back” I’m not sure how to work that haha. I don’t think it even has a significance in labor anyway. I lost mine a week and a half before I even went into labor with my first.

You don’t have to unless there’s blood or contractions. 
I would mention it when you see your doctor though

No it’s perfectly normal.... I asked my doctor about that bcz i also feel more mucus plug discharge she said it’s normal until it’s not bloody or pinkish.....

I believe you’re ok. As long as it isn’t bloody. It regenerates and some women can lose pieces early. Honestly if it was me I would wait, but if it is truly concerning you, it wouldn’t hurt to call to get piece of mind. ❤️
