Birth Control and breakthrough bleeding

Hey mamas! I had my boy in Nov, started my period back up in December, and just happened to have my pp appointment when my period was finishing up, so I started my birth control. In January I had breakthrough bleeding, which is kind of expected since everything is out of whack still. But February was fine, and normal. Now here we are in March, period 2 weeks away, and I’m bleeding again. I’ve read that could mean your body needs more hormones, I’m on Sprintec. So my question is, is or has anyone experienced this before? I don’t want on some high powered birth control bc we will probably want another LO soon. He is my first, and I haven’t been on birth control in probably ten years, but I don’t remember having this issue before. It makes me want to just quit taking it if it’s going to hinder more than help. 🙄
