Im getting married after 6 months of being in a relationship !! My fiance is muslim im non muslim, he would like me to revert one day but im not so sure. What are your thoughts on this please ?

Hi, as a Muslim myself, I can understand why he would be hoping that you would convert one day. Just for you to know, a Muslim man can marry a Christian or Jewish lady and she DOES NOT have to convert. No one can force you. So you can get to know the religion and take all the time you need to decide for yourself whether the teachings make sense to you or not. If you have any questions feel free to drop me a line :) 
I would suggest you really talk about the important stuff and get on the same page, like how you both expect the kids to be raised, how religious/ non- religious the household will be, finances, your career, get to know his temperament, understand to what extent he will be helping with the kids and around the house. Understand what his expectations are of you. Understand what his responsibilities are towards his parents; does he expect them to move in when they are elderly, will he take acre of their finance etc...
One of THE most important things to learn is how he handles a disagreement with you. And how compassionate he is when you are struggling with your feelings or anything else. The last thing you want to end up with is a controlling, short- fused man. 
Also, ask God to show you the path to what is best :)

When it comes to converting to Islam.... you need to tell him this. Show him this message if you want because I am a convert (not revert this is wrong) 
If you become a Muslim for man and not god it becomes a form of shirk (partnering god) and is a huge sin!! It is an unforgivable sin if you die in this state. He is a man.... a man is ALLOWED to marry a woman of any religion... so if he tells you he can’t marry you don’t convert this is false! 
You have to understand Why you are becoming a Muslim you have to BELEIEVE IT! He can not force you! That is oppression and oppression is haram( A SIN!!!!) again ANOTHER HUGE SIN!

Have you hd premarriage counceling. I strongly advise that so u can see how he would hndle situations. You can even go online.  
      Inlersonally dont recommend u marry that quickly unless u done your dating homework. How is his financial stanility and whatbis his career path to support a family? How does he treat others and you when he is mad, angry, or dissapointed? How is his credit, criminal history? Does he have a baby mother or ex wife or kids? What is he daily life like. Does he have any deteimental bad habits? Does he believe in hving more than one wife? Have u met hos family? How does he visualize your roles as man and women? Has he shown himself to be compassionate, generous, reliable and dependable when u really needed him? Make sure you have properly vetted and screened him because wether 1 month or 7 years together women need to do their dating homework

I converted to Islam 10 years ago. Met my husband in June and got married in August (yes, 2 months). It usually happens quickly with Muslim couples because it is for protection for the female and nobody wastes anybodys time because the end goal is marriage. 
You do not have to convert to get married to him, but his family may not be accepting if you don't. If they aren't accepting, that's more of a cultural thing because Islamically you can't coerce someone into converting and it must be done out of your free will.
I do recommend doing some research on Islam. You will definitely be surprised to learn that it is very different than what the media portrays. I used to watch YouTube videos and learned a whole bunch before I converted. Some people I recommend you searching are Yusha Evans, hamza Yusuf, mufti menk, Yasmin mogahed, and omar suleiman. These people are very, very knowledgeable.
But yes, religion is a sensitive topic when it comes to a marriage and regardless, everyone should be respected. Another thing I want to add is that even though you both may be the same religion, you may have different beliefs and practice differently. Even though my husband was born Muslim, I practice more than he does and I teach him quite a bit lol
I wish you the best with this journey, and one tip I want to leave you with is to go with your heart but don't forget to use your brain!

My husband of 20yrs and I are from different religious backgrounds, and he has never asked me to convert, nor his family. They have accepted me, and our kids, and we have mutual respect for our differences and celebrate all of the holidays.
It works for us because religion has never been that important to either one. We talked about it early on, and agreed on how to handle raising our children BEFORE getting married. 
I would put any wedding on hold for a while, until you have these hard conversations and iron out the details. 
Would he be willing to convert to your religion? It's unfair to expect this of you if he's not willing to do it himself.  He needs to accept you as you are, or only date Muslim women and save himself the hassle. 
No one should ever be pressured into a religion, if you do decide to go for it, do it because you genuinely feel your heart believes in this religion. Doing it for him will only cause problems in the long run

Differences in religious beliefs can cause tons of issues in your relationship. Especially when you start to have kids and one partner is more religious. If he is already wanting you to convert it is not a topic that is going to be dropped. you need to decide now if that is something you want or not because being on the fence will come back to bite you in the end.
