Glycerin-free lube still burns the hell out of my lady bits.. Help!

So it's a weird story, but whenever I'm on the pill (not because of pregnancy, but because of a hormone imbalance, my boyfriend is really understanding thankfully), any lube will burn the bejesus out of my lady bits! Not a pleasant warming, but a full-on ouchie burn that only a cold washcloth can soothe. BUT when I'm not on the pill, it doesn't burn at all! But that's where my sex drive goes as well 😂 it really sucks. Any help/advice? My obgyn has been no help 😭
