Husband can't bd 😞

So my husband is really keen to have a baby - we have been trying for over 2 years. Recently he bought some new ovulation tests for us and yesterday for the second month I got a smiley face positive so said tonight is the night. He then kept putting it off and when we finally came to have sex he couldn't get a proper erection and said sorry I can't do this. I am so upset and hurt - that's our chances over for this year. I am 29 years old and he is 44 - age has never been an issue but now I'm starting to think it is.
