Baby Acne or Allergy?

She has an appointment on Monday with her pediatrician. It is only on her face, not on her body. She is formula fed.

Answer

Looks like acne to me. My little girl had it realllllly bad the past few weeks. Luckily it's really started to clear up this week. It started bad on her forehead and then moved down so eventually her entire face was covered in pimples. It was on her neck too. It might take a few weeks to go away but I'm pretty sure that's what it is! Avoid soaps on her face and just dab with a warm wet washcloth a couple of times a day.

Answer

I would say allergy if she has any other symptoms (itchiness, reflux, silent reflux, colicky crying, being uncomfortable a lot, loose stools or difficulties pooping) but baby acne can look very similar to mild allergic reaction.
