Polyhydramnios?

Question

Has anyone been diagnosed with polyhydramnios ? My doctor scheduled a 4th ultrasound and when I asked why she said there was extra fluid around the baby and it needed to be rechecked in a month. I made the mistake of googling it and now I’m freaking out and terrified that there’s something wrong and I don’t know how I’m supposed to wait until the end of the month to get an answer if I actually have it or not 🙃

My doctor diagnosed me with this. I have gotten extra ultrasounds, but he was mostly concerned about her being breach. I guess he's not too concerned because he cancelled my appointment next week and I won't have to go back until 2 weeks. Everything looked good on the ultrasound. She's in the 50th percentile and I don't have gestational diabetes. I have no idea why this happened. I'm not going to stress.

I had this with my first! My feet were swollen during the end of the pregnancy and I delivered at 38 weeks. Honestly everything was fine (thank god) the only thing was that my water broke and I gushed out fluid like crazy! I went to the hospital and I was admitted instantly as I kept on leaking on the way and while registering my insurance and all that fun stuff. 
Due to having so much fluid, my nurses said my contractions were pretty strong and I was offered an epidural shortly after my arrival. All in all, no need to worry :) I think it’s only if you have too little amniotic fluid for it to be a concern

The exact same thing happened to me!! I googled and panicked and ended up calling the office back and having a 15 minute conversation with the doctor for more answers!! Basically if they were concerned enough, they’d be seeing you sooner. They said the biggest risk when it’s not a *huge* concern is the baby flipping breech. I went back today for the 2 week check up and everything is fine! Fluid went down a little. Technically still high. Now I’m just getting weekly checks until delivery.

I had it with my daughter and was induced at 37 weeks. Def don’t google it lol, esp if your doctor isn’t too concerned. My only real symptom I developed was shortness of breath, and that’s when my afi got above 35.

Do you have excessive swelling in ur feet ? It is one of the signs of polyhydraminos
