Taking a step back
My fiancé and I recently went to see his pastor who refused to marry us until I converted to Christianity (I have no set religion). So we’ve been looking for someone else. Today I found a woman with good reviews who would do our ceremony and he said he’d prefer a man. Because in his religion women have different roles in church and don’t become ordained. So he’s choosing to marry a non-Christian but doesn’t want a woman doing it?? Seems odd to me, like you can’t pick and choose which parts you want to follow. Idk I’m just gonna hold off on finding one or let him do it.
