Ultrasound question

I wasn't able to get into see a doctor when I got my first positive test. They made me an appt two weeks away. I've calculated that I'm around 8-9 weeks. I had a miscarriage back in April so I'm a bit nervous. So far my boobs have increased in size, are very tender and I've gained a little weight but no morning sickness or anything else. If I call a preganacy crisis center how soon can they usually get you in or does anyone have any experience with them?
