If you’re just starting out, pads might be easiest. I found that things that needed to be inserted were uncomfortable to use until I lost my virginity. But everyone is different, so maybe try all of them and see what works best for you !

Hi! When I first got my period I was 11yo & only used pads, not these I tagged, but I love those because they’re thinner than most and I think it’s more comfortable :)
After a couple of years I started using tampons & they’re my favorite, I don’t even remember I’m on my period when I use them! I was a virgin when I started using them, it didn’t felt uncomfortable, it wasn’t painful or anything like that, so even if you’re a virgin I recommend trying it

It’s whatever you’re most comfortable with! If insertion doesn’t stress you out, I’d try tampons or the diva cup. Cons to the diva cup include that it needs to be sterilized by boiling it in a pot specifically for that purpose, and if you’re prone to UTIs (in my experience) it can make those symptoms and predispositions worse. It’s also a bit messier to use than tampons as you need to insert your fingers all the way inside to get it out. Pros are that it’s more environmentally sustainainable than disposable tampons. Tampons work the best for me personally. You can choose the absorbency that works best for your needs. I’d recommend getting organic tampons if you go that route bc others contain chemicals and bleach that your body absorbs through your vaginal wall. If both of those options seem tough or uncomfortable, give pads a try, I’m pretty sure the size and absorbency are also customizable for those too. Don’t be afraid to try a few different options til you figure out what works best for you!
