How long do we gotta stay?

I'm due in May, & having a c-section and I'm wondering how long are they letting women with c-sections stay after delivery because of Covid? 
And do they provide any after delivery undies/ pads, diapers, wipes etc. 
I am 30 weeks and I  want to have everything ready just in case...😅😅

Length of stay and supplies will vary for each hospital but a quick phone call to wherever ur delivering will be able to answer exactly for u!

In ny they let me stay 4days, they provided diapers, formula wipes, pacifier, baby clothes,  sanitary products for me , a belly binder, soap, shampoo,  towels gowns. Food, for me and hubby, snacks,

The things they provide is hospital by hospital so youd be better to call and ask. I had my csection pre-covid and i was admitted around noon friday morning and self discharged by sunday at noon

I stayed 2 days and they supplied ervrything but it was befor COVID . I don’t think COVID will change how long you stay becuse ur having a csection.. I know they have been kicking people out early who have had a vaginal birth

Shortest was 3 days...that was because I was doing fantastic and was stubborn. I was determined to go home asap  because I wasn't getting enough rest in the hospital. So I made sure to meet all of their requirements right away. That was with my 3rd c-section. My first section was an emergency and I had to stay a full week due to complications. Second was 4 days. So it's really up to how  uneventful your section goes and postpartum recovery goes. Just be prepared for at least 3/4 days.

72 hours should be what your insurance allows in most cases.

I have had two c-sections. My first I stayed 72 hours from birth. My second I left at 48 hours. Good luck momma.
