Question what type of bag did you use for your hospital bag is the baby diaper bag fine to use ? If not what should I use or bring with me .

We both brought a duffel bag. Next time we can seriously just bring one duffel bag for both my husband and I and the baby. We hardly used anything in the bag, the hospital supplied so much. Honestly comfortable clothes and toiletries are seriously all I needed. And slippers.

I used a small rolling suitcase for all 3 of us. We did have a separate bag for extra pillows and a cooler for snacks and drinks due to the hospital restrictions when I delivered. We were in the hospital for 6 days

I am using this bag. I bought it years ago for my hospital bag for my son and it’s still in good condition so I’m using it again for this baby. It’s nice because when it’s not in use it folds into a tiny thin square for storage. The best thing about it is it’s completely washable, which is important for anything that could possibly end up on the hospital floor, especially during COVID. This time I bought the Bago packing cubes and it’s making it so much easier to organize my things separate from the baby’s things and my husbands things. I’m not bringing my regular diaper bag because it’s not machine washable, but if yours is machine washable then I’m sure that would be fine. With my first baby I found that it was much easier to try to pack all of our things into one or two bags total (including my husbands things) since he ended up carrying everything on our way out of the hospital, including our baby’s car seat.

I just used an overnight bag and honestly I didn’t use most of the stuff I took. My phone and charger were used the most. I stayed in the gown they gave me since it was easier to be checked and moved in. After baby was here I did shower and change into a clean gown and then my clothes when we left. For baby they give you almost everything you need so I just brought clothes and a hat but didn’t need the hat. They gave me one lol. I kept the mesh undies on until I went home since it was easier to keep everything in and use the ice packs since they are huge. You really don’t need much and after baby comes you’re so tired that you miss so much time and don’t care what you’re wearing or anything.

anything, i barely pulled anything out of my first hospital bag. this time around i’m bringing more products that i bought that i prefer over the hospitals. i thought i’d love the beloved mesh undies... definitely not. bringing the polaroid camera and film, and a preemie outfit (being induced at 37 weeks) and a LONG phone charger but that’s about it. hoping to be in and out of the hospital
