So I was having a lot of Braxton hicks for the past 3 weeks, had gone to triage a few times with them being timeable but not progressing cervix.. Sunday I came in because I thought my water had broken- no contractions and no breaking but I was 1cm- they told me go home and if anything changes come back..I went about my day like normal yesterday- (38 weeks) and ran a few last minute errands grocery shopping ect.. Came home at 5 ate home made eggplant parm sandwich and then was relaxing watching tv. I noticed I was having a lot of cramping but nothing unbearable. At about 9pm my fiancé went to bed because he works at 7am- at about 10pm I was getting really restless sitting on couch so I decided to soak in shower.. About 25 minutes or so into my shower I couldn't tolerate it- even the water hitting my body was making me feel so sick.. I got out and instantly threw up everything. At that point contractions were very strong and about 4 minutes apart consistently. I woke up my fiancé and we called his mom to come stay with our 3 year old.. Got to hospital at 11:30 and I was 2cm contracting every 2-4 minutes.. Rechecked 40 minutes later and I was now at 3cm still contracting strong- so they went ahead and booked OR for my repeat csection.. After waiting for all my bloodwork to be cleared we finally went upstairs at 2am.. Anesthesia did my spinal and they prepped me for surgery.. My little babe was born at 2:50am 19.5 inches long 7lbs13oz 💙 first baby born on December 1st! We are doing great, although I am a little sore I am up and moving around now- so so in love😍 meet Deven James
