Cyst?

So my left breast has been hurting for like two days now and this morning I discovered an oval lump in the area it's been hurting, everything I've read about breat cysts lines up with my symptoms including timing relative to my period but I'm still a little nervous. I can't lay on my left side because it hurts like a bitch. Has anyone else had this issue that could shed some light on this?
