Umbilical hernia??

I’m 29 weeks and have this hernia keeping me from enjoying this pregnancy 😓 it’s about the so e of a small lime and I’m in pain 24/7 ...can’t even go pee without assistance 😣 does anyone have experience with this? My OB doesn’t want to do surgery until AFTER having baby. Total understandable since my hernia can potentially come back from pushing baby out.

Just really struggling because I was told to not climb stairs which is nearly impossible since we have 3 cases in our home🙄 I also have a graveyard job and I make good money so opting to go on medical leave is not an option for me right now. Although my sister said my health should be more important than money.

Just trying to network and see options and potential risks ? I certainly don’t want to make matters worse just for being a little money hungry but at the same time I don’t know if I’m overdoing the worry and it’s really not that big of a deal or if I should just take it easy. My pain level is a 9 but I am good with managing pain lol so I’m basically fucked coz I don’t usually know my limits.

Any similar stories ? What helped with pain? Did you lessen your workload ? Single mom, have a toddler at home, and I’m a shift supervisor (graveyard ) for a homeless shelter so it’s SUPER STRESSFUL and I hardly sleep which does take a big ass toll on my body and overall mindset.
