Anatomy scan at MFM?

My anatomy scan is this Friday at maternal fetal medicine. I can’t even remember how long the scan took with my other two at a regular OB but has anyone had one recently at MFM? How long did the scan take? Asking so I can let my sitter know what to expect since this appointment is longer than my usual bi weekly scans.

I will be going to MFM next friday for my anatomy scan. I was told the entire appointment would be around 2 hours, ultrasound and seeing the doctor. I am also high risk.

Mine was about 45 minutes long at MFM.

I am having twins and they told me the appointment will be 2 hours at mfm so I am assuming that it will be about 1 hour for one baby

Scan is about an hour and doctors visit after can take up to an hour. I’d recommend to plan for two hours plus commute time to be safe🤗

With a 9:45 appointment I was out of there around noon & they still didn’t get all the pictures they needed of my stubborn little boy 😩 lol. Now I’m switching MFM’s (one thats closer since ill be going so frequently) & I’m hoping the new one won’t take as long as the old one for my follow up, lol! (Twins here as well).

I saw MFM with my first pregnancy.  The anatomy scan typically takes about an hour and then they’ll usually have the doctor see to my after.
