Baby going into the store

I’m a single mom with no friends or family. My baby is 6 weeks old and I haven’t brought him into a store. I been trying my best to get food delivered but it’s getting expensive that way.

I been scared to take him into a store because the virus but at this point I may not have a choice.

Would it be okay/safe to take him into the store while he’s in his car seat with a car seat cover on it?
