If you have herpes simplex 1 can you relate?

So way before I even started getting acne I had puss filled crusty painful stubborn cold sores on my lips constantly, showed up for the first time (that I can remember) sometime in third grade. I've had it pretty severely my whole life like most people who have it don't even know or don't have any symptoms at all but know they have it. So if you have it pretty sever like me can I ask if you relate to these things...

1. Does yours show up like acne sometimes?

I heard that it's common for severe cases to show up in clusters similar to regular acne.

2. Do you notice your mood significantly plummet during flare ups?

I feel like this happens to me and I read it can be connected to depression, but depression and anxiety run in my family so I didn't think about it much until I became an adult and noticed just how drastically my mood and everything about me fell so incredibly down specifically before and during flare ups.

3. Have you gotten help?

I haven't been to the doctor in years but idk if there is anything to help how sever mine is...
