Pregnancy and the COVID vaccine
What are your thoughts on receiving the vaccine during pregnancy? I know there have not been enough studies and when I asked the OB she said it is recommended by CDC and when I read through there and the American College for ob/gyn it is recommend but there is always risks and I just don’t know what to do... and most stories I have read are women whom received the vaccine further along in their pregnancy during the 3rd trimester. I received my 1st dose when I didn’t know I was pregnant, my first appt with the OB is not until April 1st and I am due for my 2nd dose COViD shot next week which I would be at about 7-8 weeks into my pregnancy per the calendar. Thoughts and feedback is greatly appreciated. I miscarried years ago before having my 2 kids, and about 6 years after my 2nd child is born, I am 39 years old and about 6-7 weeks pregnant
