Lefty?

Has anyone started to notice a dominace in hand choice? My daughter uses her ldft hand for everything. Im wondering if she will be left handed?

A clear hand preference isnt usually established until ages 4-6, but begins to develop at 2-4. It's super common for kids to swap hand until then. I taught kindergarten and there were some kids who would still colour/write with both!

Mine isn't yet. My middle one didn't show a preference until about 2. But my oldest starting throwing a ball at 9 months and showed a very clear preference for throwing with his right hand at the same age. Never threw a ball with his right hand and he's 100% still right handed at 4.

Mine uses his left a lot. But I noticed he’s sloppy with it. Rarely uses his right but he’s more accurate when using it lol. Like a cookie will be picked up with the left 95% of the time but he drops it. If he uses his right hand the cookie makes it to the mouth every time 🤷‍♀️

My husband is a lefty, his mom is a lefty and her dad was a lefty....
I notice she will either only use her left hand or right hand when eating. It's fairly evenly split on usage though.
I dont think we will know for sure until 4ish

Charlotte shows a definite preference for using her left and is much more accurate with it compared to her right.
