My husband is mad because I didn’t fix his plate & wont talk to me

Okay so we decided to have my parents over for dinner after they tested negative for COVID. I’m making dinner and I’m making the plates, usually I serve my husband first then our son but this time I fixed a plate for my dad first since he was over and after dinner my husband told me I was wrong and that was disrespectful. I honestly didn’t see the big deal with it so I told him it wasn’t that serious, he’s now mad and won’t even talk to me!! I’m so frustrated. What do I say? Was I really wrong or am I being picked on?
