Would you believe your daughter if she said her step dad touched her?

My friend which is my baby’s father brother baby mother, came to me and said her daughter told her mom that her step dad (baby dad brother, which is her baby father) , touched her. No one wants to believe her. My baby dad even said his brother isn’t like that and that he wouldn’t do a such thing. But me personally, I believe her. I grew up with my family members touching me and no one believed me but my grandma so I 100% believe her! Now they’re mad at me for being the only one believing her. I’m sorry but i don’t put shit past any man! I told my friend she need to kick him out immediately! The girl is 15 years old with a very mature and pretty shape! Am I wrong for believing her? I mean he’s already gotten a 17 year old girl pregnant while dating her so why not believe he likes younger girls? He’s 27 years old he could have gone to jail for that!

Coming from someone whose mother didn’t believe her when she said her stepdad touched her... and continued to leave me with the man. Yes, always believe the child and remove them from the situation.

210% if my daughter told me anyone was touching her, I'd believe her. Full investigation. Don't care who you are to me or to her. I'd rather believe her and be wrong than not believe her and have her be telling the truth. I was sexually abused by a family member as a child and I've held that secret my entire life. I'll be 31 this year and I've never mentioned it to even my parents. This happened from the ages of 9 to 12. Old enough to know damn well what was going on and that it was wrong. But too afraid to say anything. And now I see how everyone I know feels about women who come forward, especially years later, and I've vowed to always keep it to myself. I'll take it to my grave.

No child will make this up. To be able to even talk about it is huge. This isn’t something that they will just come up with and lie about. It’s truly horrible how children won’t be believed. If she’s saying it happened, it happened. Unless she a severe behavior issues or is known for coming up with atrocious lies or something then I’d 100% believe her.

Yes I will always believe my daughter. My cousin actually went through a similar ordeal but her mom doesn’t believe her, my cousin ended up living with some church people, still is to this day. Her stepdad is still at their home, it’s disgusting. I don’t talk to my aunt much anymore because of this, I can’t imagine choosing a man over my child.  Even if the child is lying why not take them serious, investigate, and prove what is true or not before continuing to let the man stay around your child. Please continue to believe her and get CPS involved if no one else will believe her or do anything about it.

Yeah I'd be calling CPS .I would be reporting him. I'd be going to get a restraining order for the child and requested investigation .to the point where I would get her into a therapist and request her to draw what he did to her. it's usually those guys that everybody says oh he's a good guy he would never touch a child he never do that he's a godsend it's usually those people that do things that we don't see because they usually tell the child not to say anything.
