No heartbeat at 6 weeks?

I had an early ultrasound and my doctor called and told me that there are 2 babies but no heart beat. She says I should expect to miscarry. Has anyone gone through anything similar or had a heartbeat not show and then show later

Don't do anything til 8 weeks if you need intervention. Ive heard of mama snot seeing anything til then.

I don't want to "get your hopes up" but it happened to my sister,  she decided to way another week to get another ultrasound,  turns out baby was fine he was just earlier than they thought

We couldn't find heartbeat until i was like 9 weeks-11 weeks. I'm 36w now. My uterus was slightly tilted which made it hard to find

I went at 5 weeks 5 days and no heartbeat went back at 8 weeks and there was a heartbeat

Heard mine at 5 wks and 3 days but every1 is different. Prayers its a positive outcome 🙏✨🙌 in the end at their next scan .

In my current pregnancy I had an ultrasound at 5w6d and there was no heartbeat, they saw yolk and gestational sac and weren’t concerned. 
Next ultrasound was a few weeks later and baby was there with a strong heartbeat, and has been ever since. I’m 24 weeks tomorrow. 
Turns out I was a few days behind and must have ovulated a little later than I thought. So my first ultrasound was really only at 5w2d, not 5w6d, which is why no heartbeat was detected.

In the uk you don’t get seen until 8 weeks as heartbeat cannot often be detected before then
