Positive? or maybe a fault with the test?

Beware, TMI! 
This morning I had some light brown discharge and I finished my period 2 weeks ago. I had no idea what it could be, I knew that there was a spare test upstairs so I thought I would do that just to rule things out, if it wasn’t that then I’d know it could be an infection or something. 
When I peed on it, it was a bit splashy (gross I know) so I don’t know if there’s been some urine go inside and create a fault with the test. Either that or I’m searching for any reason for it to be negative to avoid any disappointment.

Try another test to make sure  but this one definitely looks positive! And you must have ovulated really early because to have this strong positive just 2 weeks after period , it surprised me. Good luck either way!

Just an update. I had blood tests and they are negative, with less that 2 HCG indicated. There was no explanation to why or how I got a positive result but there we have it😕.

Thank you! I’m going to do a digital test just to be sure. I knew there was a faint line, but I just couldn’t believe it to be positive because I only had a period only 2 weeks ago, so I thought there could’ve been another explanation? With that thought in mind tho, My period was strange. Heavy for 2 days, close to absolutely nothing the 3rd and then very light on 4th. 
Lots of questions buzzing around my mind right now! X
