Nevaeh Rose is already a day old!

I went into the hospital on my due date of November 29th l, due to contractions being 6 minutes apart for an hour. They admitted me about an hour after arriving because when they checked my cervix, the sac was actually hanging down. I have pretty bad scoliosis, since I was already under the impression that an epidural wouldn't take. The anesthesiologist still made an effort, and it took! Unfortunately, I had a rare thing happen where the medicine actually traveled to nerves around my eye, causing it to slowly swell. The doctors didn't want permanent damage to ensue, so they informed me that I would indeed be giving birth naturally. The good news was that they didn't have to induce me. My water broke on its own a little after my catheter had been put in. And I did all the pushing on my own. No forceps or vacuum necessary. I did tear...Pretty oddly my doctor told me. I didn't tear straight up and down from vagina to butthole, but tore a bit inside my vagina, coming out. It was all worth it to have my daughter of course. She's gorgeous, and I am beyond in love with my little girl.
