Ovulation tracking... where are my eggs?..7 months out...sex getting boring

We are on month 7 ttc and are getting into more frequent bd, (started tracking with ovulation kit) but with baby in the back of our heads it's become mechanical. I'm 33 and wondering if we should get to a fertility specialist to check dh sperm mobility and my eggs. At what point did you all reach out to a specialist??

We've been trying for 5 months and it started to get chore like which worried me so i realized I need to change my mind set.  TTC is great and everything but for me the point is to focus on the love I feel for my partner.  Its not worth it to me to get preggo if the price was sucking all the  romance and fire out of my relationship.  So I stopped telling SO about fertile time vs non- fertile time and instead started coming on to him the ways it was when we first started.  For us there is such a thing as too much information.

I am also 33 and now starting on month 8 of TTC #1. When I got my AF last week I emailed my Dr and told her how frustrated and concerned we are getting, she referred me to an OBGYN. When I talked to them,  they said they will not do ANY  testing until a year, and I made an appointment I will hopefully not need for then.... Apparently it's quite common for it to take up to a year, which sucks,  but I guess it means there is maybe nothing wrong quite yet! I feel you on BD getting old though,  after so long it starts to lose its fun when its like a job! Good luck to you,  and know your not alone!

I'm 36 and after my tubal reversal we got everything checked out. We did  conceive a month later but it out ended in a mc 2 months later. It's gonna be ok. We are still trying. Good luck it will happen for you.

We've been trying to concieve for 5 months now and its definitely become chore sex. Im so depressed that I'm not pregnant and it feels so hopeless that I'm finding little joy in it. Regardless every day we are supposed to BD we do. I hate that its become a chore. :-/ As far as how long before you talk to a doctor goes my Gyno said they wont do anything until you've been TTC for 6 months without success. So I would say you are good to talk to your doc at this point and discuss options. GOOD LUCK! :)

Month 3 and it's clearly a chore now as my so couldn't finish yesterday and I got a LH surge in the evening hoping tonight works 😰

Thanks all...Reading your stories helps a lot. Plus I think you sent some luck my way. Decided to try opk and got a peak result this AM...some hope knowing I'm ovulating (comforting to see) We bd last night and tonight - dh was exhausted but a trooper :-).

Hoping this is our month...but not to the extreme so as to avoid the disappointment if af shows!!!
