I need advice please!

My next ultrasound is tomorrow morning. My husband is offshore working and won't be home til the 18th. So one of my friends offered to go with me even tho its most likely going to be transvaginal. She just said she would stand by my head. Lol well she just bailed because her son is sick and not going to school tomorrow. So I thought about texting my closest friend to see if she'd like to go with me. Is it weird for a friend to go for this kind of appointment? Is it weird that one friend offered. Is it weird to ask my best friend to go with me??? I guess I just don't know what to think...will they even allow a friend in the room?
