Starting to Worry
I am nearing 9 months post partum, and it's like a switch flipped and now my health is just...not what it should be.
Part of it is that I am only down 24 lbs from my pre-birth weight (186), so my BMI is still high. I have struggled to get below 160 (5'2" height), when I was 139 before my first pregnancy and 149 before this last one.
My liver enzymes have been elevated for the last month. I am deficient in Vitamin D. My annual pap smear was abnormal Today, I had a strange colored stool (dark grey) and the toilet water was pink like blood was leaking out of it (nothing on the TP). I am already scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound and more bloodwork and working with a gastroenterologist per my OBGYN's suggestion (it was my annual that found the liver enzyme).
The GE is thinking autoimmune disorder or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. That was before this mornings weird bowel movement. I haven't had any pain in my abdomen or anywhere in general, so when they ask how I feel I have to say the same as always.
I am just starting to worry something is seriously wrong, and am afraid of what I will find out. It's making my anxiety sky high, because since I don't feel different from normal, what exactly IS wrong and how long has it been wrong?
I dont know. I guess I am looking for some advice to ground me?
