Ask for earlier ultrasound for gender?

I’m super eager to find out the gender but my next appointment isn’t for 4 more weeks, should I call and see if they’ll schedule me at 18weeks (in one week) to find out the gender or should I just wait for my next appointment? Doesn’t hurt to ask right!

i didn’t want to wait till 20 weeks this pregnancy because i was so anxious but i told them i was going out of town lmaoo they scheduled me at 18 weeks and confirmed boy. the only downside to going early is that’s pretty much your last ultrasound unless you pay for one or are high risk

I’d personally just wait until the 20 weeks. You’re already so close to it. 
I’m impatient on finding out the sex too, which is why I’m doing the NIPT blood test at my 13 week appointment next week, so I don’t have to wait until 20 weeks to find out.
