Twins?!

Hi everyone!

I’ve been very impatiently waiting for my dating scan, I am 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and so excited as this is my first! 😊. I went out and bought a pregnancy test just to make sure I am in fact still pregnant!

I posted a photo of my pregnancy test after crying my eyes out because the line was so faint! I thought something was wrong until someone on here told me it’s actually called a “dye stealer!”

After doing some research I’ve read quite a few times that “dye stealers” especially early on could possibly mean twins?!

I do have twins on my side of the family, my dad was a twin!

I just wanted to ask the question here, has anyone had a “dye stealer” and then found out they were expecting twins? Or is this just one of those old wife tales!
