Second child experience. Has anyone had their mucus plug come out over 2-3 days??

I recently came down with a cold and have been coughing like a 70year old chain smoker and throwing up like no other.  Noticed contractions becoming regular and plug came out all day. And this is the second day and there is still a large amount coming out. Lol how much longer should he be?? Im 36w4d

It can come out and replenish for weeks. Bloody show in the plug is more of an indicator that it could be soon.

My first came out at 38weeks and was 3cm dilated so I had my membranes swept (had her that same night). This time around, I lost my "bloody show" at 35+weeks. Currently 39weeks 1day and still waiting lol. Not sure if I'm dilated at all or not though since my cervix is still posterior.

Mine has been coming out for a week as of today. I had a membrane sweep yesterday and since then it's been bloody mucus. My doctor said your plug is very thick so it can come out for a long time.
