My 17 month old is obsessed with naming me and my husband as mama and dada. She will point to us often and repeatedly say who we are.

She also repeatedly points to herself and says her name. It’s like she’s trying to establish her sense of self and placement in our family.

She also points to objects and knows what they are. The interesting thing is that she names who they belong to (shoes, sunglasses, coffee mugs). She’ll remember who was using items even days later.

Anyone else’s baby do these things??
