Grandparents who smoke
I’m having trouble and don’t know how to address the situation. My in-laws live with us and are heavy outdoor smokers. The problems I’m having are with the effects of thirdhand smoke and the remnants on their clothes and skin that they bring into the household which contaminates other places like furniture. I’m incredibly sensitive to it and it causes allergic reactions, and I’m worried how it will affect our baby. Asking them to quit hasn’t worked, asking them to move is a non-option, and I don’t want to be cruel. How would you address it?
