It's fine to be honest, but you also don't have to be harsh and then say "I didn't want you to post it anyway and because you didn't listen to me, you look ridiculous." Would bet he's trying to control you & put you down on purpose

I NEVER post on topics like this but i hate to see this. For one, you look absolutely beautiful. You look happy, genuine, & real. Maybe he doesn’t actually like the way he looks in the pic and he’s hiding his own discomfort by being an asshole or he’s just a manipulative piece of shit. Either way, stand up for yourself. Don’t ever let someone treat you with that kind of disrespect. I’d be having a serious conversation with him on how you don’t deserve to be talked down to like that. Your partner is supposed to be your partner. They’re supposed to boost your confidence not lower it. And if it happened to be a really unflattering pic, then he could say that it’s not his absolute favorite but he still thinks you look beautiful. This is so so important. I don’t want you feeling like this 😞 I hope he apologizes and realizes that his words mean something and they can really hurt and that he should choose to make you smile, not the opposite. Just remember you do deserve better.

I think he’s insecure about the photo and doesn’t want to admit it. Whenever I look like shit in a photo, I say “hey I don’t like the way I look, could you not post that?”, not tell the other person they look bad 🤦🏼‍♀️
