When it comes to my family it depends on what you did like if you said a bad word it’s a warning if you sneak food your grounded for the day, and you have do a bunch of chores, here comes some bad ones (this actually happened) my 9 yo sister skipped virtual school and played and lied that it was an off day, and she got spanked 2 times with the belt (we have a old leather belt and a rhinestone belt, but the rhinestone one is for intimidating) and I used to be really bad about stealing, so I was spanked a lot. And honestly I’m sort of great full because it caused us to stop doing bad things, I’m now 14 and I haven’t been spanked since I was 11, and I’m a good kid and idk bout my sisters they are still annoying 😂

My mother never hit me but my older brother, who was only like 13 at the time, would hit me with a belt for making noise, slap me across my face for sucking my thumb, boss me around like “put on my shoes”, “get me my slippers”, “bring some water”. He was angry that my deadbeat father would abuse him so I guess he took it out on me.
