Sphinx teapot

I made my teapot by creating a design and made paper templates. I rolled out clay slabs, then traced my templates on them. I assemble the parts adding coils on the inside. I let it harden. I made a hole as well as a pinch pot, shaping that into a Sphinx head for the lid. I added Sphinx faces to the body. I rolled a coil and attached it to the pot to make a handle. Next I carved it to make it into a tail. I made a spout and shaped it into a paw. It was fired, then glazed, and fired again.
