Cloth Diaper Newbie- Baby with diaper rash

Hi! So I am just getting into cloth diapering. I have been cloth diapering my baby during the day and using disposable at night/when we go out just to make things easier. I am using pocket diapers right now. Baby is 5 weeks old and has developed redness in his diaper area with red spots that look kind of angry and raw. Could this be related to my wash routine? I use Tide detergent with a hot rinse, heavy wash, then cold rinse, and then tumble dry on low heat with wool dryer balls. My diapers come out clean with no stains and no weird smells. I change him about every 1-2 hours or whenever I hear him pooping. I'm so new to cloth diapering and I'm worried that I'm doing something wrong and causing him pain/discomfort 😬 any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 😊
