I'm not doing Santa for my children because
I've read on here about lots of parents and parents to be choosing not to make Santa a part of their Christmas traditions because they "don't want Santa to be credited for something that they actually have their child" or "they don't want to break their kids' hearts when then find out Santa isn't real" .
Don't get me wrong to each is their own, but personally I just can't imagine not doing it. I want my children to experience Santa and believe in magic. And have fun. I found out Santa wasn't real when I was in Second grade because I noticed that "Santa's handwriting" was exactly the same as my mother's. I wasn't heart broken. And it didn't ruin my holidays. I was so happy when I got old enough because I got to help pretend to be Santa for my little sisters. And with my own children I plan on breaking the news in this sort of way when the time comes

I guess my point/ question of this post is why you don't want to do Santa Claus, and if maybe you would change your mind if your kids were understanding about it?
