Why does customer service always have people with strong accents?

I get they're doing there job and trying to help, but why does it seem most of them have strong Indian accents that you can't understand? It's frustrating and I feel rude asking them to slow down and repeat themselves a million times

Actual i worked at apple care before in Canada since we are an immigrant country we have ppl with strong accents. All I gotta say i couldn't handle that job and with all rude ppl i had to deal, only ppl who stuck with it were the immigrants. They do the tough jobs North Americans really dont want to do.

I love eBay customer service. I always get people in there UK. They are easy to understand and their accents are so fun! Haha. They always sound so happy!

Big companies tend to hire customer service back abroad. Unfortunately some of them has attitudes despite of their accents. Try to ask them politely, maybe that would help. Hey are all over Asia. ☺️
