What happens next?

My baby was due on the 29th of November, and she still hasn't arrived. What do I do now? I haven't got anymore midwife appointments booked. Do I just sit and wait or phone a doctor to arrange an induction? Help!

You need to be seen by your Midwife between 40 and 41 weeks. They check baby's growth, your blood pressure etc and book you for induction at 10-12 days overdue.

Give your Midwife a call and let them know you're overdue and have no appointments booked xx

I'm 5 days overdue and saw my midwife yesterday. I'm booked for induction next Wednesday at 12 days overdue xx

Your midwife should still see you at 40 and 41 weeks. Do you have a number for her, or an office number you can ring to book an appt? They usually put it on the front of your green notes. My little girl was due on 21st November but was overdue. I had a stretch and sweep at 40+3 and 41+3 and was booked in for induction (midwife should do this for you) at 12 days over. Thankfully my 2nd sweep worked and I went into labour naturally the day before I was due to be induced. 48 hours later our princess was here 😊
