Thank you email- work related

So recently I interviewed at a big popular corporate firm with a team of 4. I know usually you have a hr interview first but mine was other way around. Anyway the interview went great and I sent a thank you email to which the director even responded too (twice)...she thought maybe the first time I didn't get her email so the following Monday she resent it 😀...usually they don't even reply! Anyway the other day I had a call with hr recruiter...pretty positive asking how interview was why I want this job etc and discuss salary and benefits. She said I should have update the next day but I have not heard anything yet. Today will be 2nd day. I really want this job badly. I'm wondering should I send thank you email to hr recruiter as well...I don't want to be pushy...the director in first interview said it would be a few weeks. It hasn't been few weeks yet as first interview was last week
