My son hates the bottle! 😮
I have a beautiful son who is 16weeks and 2days old. He is exclusively breastfed and I just love the idea of breastfeeding. I was one of the lucky ones who stock a lot of supply and had no trouble breastfeeding since birth. Recently though, I have been trying to bottle-feed him every now and then just for him to get use to if he’s going to his dads for the day or I need a sitter one night but, he simply will not drink from any bottle. I’ve tried two types of bottles with different sized teets both recommended for his age (Formula only). He also hates the dummy and it’s almost impossible to soothe him with something other then his fingers 🙄 I have yet to try a breast pump but I really think it’s the teet he is having trouble getting use to, almost as if he knows it’s not real. Any helpful tips?
