Does anyone have an office job in a furniture store?

Does anyone on here have an office job at a furniture store? If so, what do you do?

I have been at my current work place 7years but due to some massive company changes, have begun to consider a new career patch. I currently work with heavy construction vehicles and have done everything from a sales assistant, invoicing and purchasing. A family friend knew I was beginning to look, and told me a local furniture store is going to have an office position open up (the lady is retiring). She said she doesn’t know what the position is, but gave my name and brief job history to the owner and he asked for my resume.

Even when I sent over my info, I told them I’m not sure what the position is but hope my experience meets their requirements. All they told me is I’ve done a lot of the daily tasks already and they want to meet with me this week.

When I think of furniture stores, all I can think of is selling the furniture and that does not appeal to me. But it sounds like this position is not that and I have no idea what it could be. I like to be prepared for interviews so any kind of insight as to what this job could be, would be great.
