Tongue piercing too high?

I got my tongue pierced yesterday but I’m pretty upset as I can’t see it when talk which is kind of why I got it. Is this because it’s placed too high? Could i get it lowered in the future. Would I be able to see it when I talk if it was lower?

Your tongue will be swollen for a few days. Wait a while. If u have it too forward you will bash you teeth with the ball and chip them loads

Unless you stick your tongue out of your mouth while you talk "you" wouldn't see it. Others should be able to see it when swelling goes down, and others will see it typically when you laugh.

I honestly think the placement looks good. Your tongue is also going to be a little swollen for a few days which is going to effect the look of the piercing. Hopefully after a week or so you’ll start to notice it and like it more

You want it a little bit back or else you'll bust your front teeth on it. The piercing is fine. 
I have venoms and mine are at the bend of my tongue angled back so I don't crack my teeth. They look great and so does yours. People will see it when you laugh or open your mouth a bit.
