I hate my mother-in-law like absolutely hate this woman. 
It’s become kind of an issue with my boyfriend and I. Only because of his relationship with her and I’d prefer her not be around my baby. You’re probably thinking like what the fuck that’s his mom but she uses the shit out of him. She takes loads of money from him all the time and when we ask her for help she doesn’t. He gave her recently two grand but didn’t want to help us buy a stroller for my baby. ￼￼￼￼￼￼

It sounds like it’s not necessarily an issue with his mother so much as an issue with him putting his mother ahead of your child when it comes to financial support. That will definitely become an issue in your relationship but you disliking his mother doesn’t have to be an issue between you and him.

Your issues with his mother are yours to work out, really. If you can’t do that, then no, a relationship won’t work if he and his mother are close, because at the end of the day, no matter how right you are, he’s probably going to side with his mother.
This is assuming you’ve already had discussions with him and he doesn’t see an issue with his and his mother’s relationship. If you’ve not done that, it would be your first step. Your next would be to try to work things out one on one with his mother.

Honestly it depends on the relationship!  Me n my mother in law were fine until i got pregnant then i guess she realised i was gonna be more then just a girlfriend n she totally flipped. She always talked about another girl she wished he married she judged every single parenting decision i made!  We lived in their basement apartment and she would constantly come dowstairs if she heard my voice was loud and rhn down saying do u need help with her like no the fuck i dont thank you!  One day she stepped over the line when i was talking to my daughter about putting something away that she didnt want to put away and his mom came right between me n my daughter picked her up n looked at me n said i wont have u talking to her like that!  And walked away! There was three other adults in the room that said i wasnt not talking rudely or wrong to my daughter!! That day was the last day i spoke to her for six months and my husband didnt for 3!  He went right away n yelled at her n told her to mind her place or were gone. Eventually we worked it out n were ok now but i will never forgive or or trust her but at the end of the day she is my husbands mom so i have to tolerate her but its nice knowing my husband will pick me over her. If ur husband is a mommas boy n wouldnt chose u then id ditch him
