Unprotected Sex

I've been on the same birth control for almost a year now and my bf for about 11 months. We have unprotected sex but he always pulls out. We're both getting tired of it and we both want him to finish inside me but I'm just so scared I'll get pregnant because I miss at least one pill every month and have to take it the next day. Any solutions? I'm thinking about asking the doctor for an implant or the shot but I'm worried about weight gain..
