Trying not to get my hopes up

So I did the pregnancy test that came with the answers ovulation strips. I am so scared that it is a false positive. I had to go straight to work so I was not able to retest with a more reliable test. I am freaking out we have been trying for two and a half years and I am on clomid, metformin and progrstrone. We are scheduled to start iui in january. Has any one else ever gotten a false positive with this test? The test was sitting out when I was taking a shower could that cause a false positive? I am tearified I am going to do another test tomorrow and it is going to be negative
