Spotting?? Help.

Question

My husband and I are ttc our second baby since April. My last period was August 14-17.  My cycles usually around 38 days.  On August 4-8 I had a lil spotting when I wiped along with creamy cm. I am now on cd 40.  All test have been a BFN.

​Any ideas?
